Summary: Staying at Willington Hall was a lovely experience in terms of hospitality, nothing was too much trouble for the team. However, our room wasn't the cleanest. The four poster bed was extremely dusty and the windows were full of cobwebs, dead and living spiders. Dead flies, were on both the windows sills and floor to the bathroom. I did complain about this upon leaving and received an apology. The hotel is really lovely, just disappointed about our room.

Summary: Very friendly welcome, we booked a suite, because no dogs are allowed there, which is probably a good idea when you have allergies. The suite was very spacious and romantic. The food was delicious, although I suspect that the breakfast portion size could be a bit larger for some people. The hotel has much charm and is situated in very quiet surroundings. The guest book proposed many things to do, but visitors should come by car, to get around easily. Parking spaces were more than enough outside. Willington Hall hotel is the place to go, if you like peace and quiet and like the charm of an old country house that is kept in check very well. The staff were very nice as well.

Summary: Excellent food. Fabulous service from reception, bar and restaurant. Beautiful location with amazing views. Friendly hospitable staff. Plenty of parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. It’s an old building with the related issues (you’d creak a bit if you were that old!). The breakfast buffet was limited however the cooked breakfast food more than made up for this. The evening meals were outstanding. We were part of a group of 6 and none of us were disappointed with the choice or quality.
